One of our newest member.... Johnathon Sullinger

We are happy to introduce Johnathon Sullinger, one of our newer team members at 1^st Pet.  Johnathon has been with us for about 9 months at our Mesa location and has been a terrific addition to our team! 

Born in Odessa, Texas, Johnathon graduated with an AS in Veterinary Technology from Long Technical College in 2007 and has been working in the veterinary field since graduating! 

Johnathon loves everything about being a Veterinary Technician, but especially enjoys General Practice, along with administering anesthesia, monitoring surgical patients, caring for ICU patients, and performing clinical pathology, and radiographs to name a few. 

Johnathon loves growing in his career and continues to learn new things and find ways to improve upon his skills.  When not at work he spends time with his partner and their pets- Booger the Pug (who he rescued as a puppy with a severe upper respiratory infection, Parvo, and a broken jaw!) and Prada, an American Cocker Spaniel. 

He enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, being a movie buff and hanging out with his dogs as well as volunteering his time at Arizona Exotic Bird Rescue and the Phoenix Zoo!  If and when Johnathon has spare time he likes pulling funny/scary pranks on his friends- so we better keep him busy!

Many of you have already met Jamie P.  She has been with 1^st Pet Veterinary Centers for over 9 years and works as a Certified Veterinary Technician in the Internal Medicine Department. 

Jamie has been in the veterinary profession for over 20 years.  She started out with the goal of going to Veterinary School, and to gain experience working as a Veterinary Assistant.  However she fell in love with the nursing aspect of a Veterinary Technician so she decided to become the best Vet Tech she could be! 

Jaime loves what she does and her heart sings when she sees her patients feeling better and able to return home. She loves working with her patients and enjoys seeing them when they return for their follow-up visits.

When not at work Jamie along with her husband of 7 years, are busy with their 2 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats.  One of their dogs serves heroically as a blood donor for 1^st Pet patients.  Team members like Jamie help us provide the best care for all of our patients at 1^st Pet!
